I believe...

...that you won't find something for everyone here...Amazon I am not. I don't mass produce.

...in quality over quantity. I carefully create each piece one a time with a focus on detail.

...in recycling...There is a box full of designs in the studio that I just don't feel will pass the test of time. These I will someday take apart to salvage the gems, metals, etc. I recycle every bit of paper, packaging, and everything else that comes into the studio.

...in health and safety...I don't use anything with lead, nickel or cadmium so you can feel confident that your jewelry is safe for you to wear.

...in the protection of animals. A portion of my sales are donated to Lucy Mackenzie Humae Society and Dogs Deserve Better.

... in community. I consistently donate to a variety of non-profits throughout the year.

You weren’t mass produced. You are one of a kind. There is not now, nor will there ever be another person just like you. Embrace, cherish and express that! Your personality has different facets, just like a gem. There will be time to whisper and times to shout. Don’t let anyone else decide for you.

There is a poem written by Jenny Joseph that begins “When I am an old woman I shall wear purple with a red hat that doesn’t go…” When I first read that I thought “why wait?”. Do it now. Then I read the rest and this is how it ends

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me
are not too shocked and surprised,
When suddenly I am old
and start to wear purple!”

My passion is creating jewelry for women like Jenny. Who may not always follow the rules and who are bold, confident and revel in a little eccentricity among the traditional.

How it began...

I began making beaded jewelry ion 2007 and continued working with beads & gems, learning every technique and stitch I could get my hands on and then breaking the rules to create my designs. This continued for 8 years while I enjoyed seeing comments such as these from my customers.

“This bracelet has exceeded my expectations!!! Dianne made this (special order) bracelet even though I'm sure this is one of the busiest times of the year for her studio. This is one of the designs Dianne created and & it's simply stunning. Dianne is responsive and very accommodating...I would highly recommend.” Regards, Patricia A.

“This item is spectacular. I am in awe of this artist's ability with beads. It arrived quickly in a grand manner with an extra gift. Absolutely love the whole transaction! “Donna L.

Dianne, The necklace is so beautiful, I love it. Thanks for the lovely earrings. It was a pleasure doing business with you! The whole transaction was perfect! Thanks so much! Ronilyn

I have been published several times in Bead and Button magazine, they purchased 2 of my patterns and my work was included in Best of Bead and Button (volume 9) hardcover book.

I was the top selling jewlelry artist in a fine jewelry store for 4 years!

For the last couple of years, I've had this nagging feeling that I wanted to work with metals. It wouldn’t leave me alone so I started reading, researching, asking questions and finally purchased some copper, a few hammers and other hand tools for metalwork. The spark was ignited and I haven’t stopped since.

I hope you'll fall in love with something you see here. If you do, please let me know in the Guestbook, even if you don't make a purchase!
